For O Level students who feel that their school records do not reflect their true academic capability, we will be conducting admission tests. The admission test will provide the Admission Committee with another data point on the basis of which the applicant’s academic drive will be assessed.
The test will be conducted on three different dates and the applicant can choose to register for either one based on personal availability.
The test dates are as follows:
SESSION 1: Monday, 19 June, 2017
SESSION 2: Thursday, 6th July, 2017
SESSION 3: Thursday, 20 July, 2017
The test will be made up of MCQs and/or structured questions (CIE past paper style) and will be based on the O level syllabus of any 3 subjects selected by the applicant.
Students who are planning to change their focus of study at A Levels need to take the test in three subjects that they studied at O Levels, e.g. those who studied science at the O Levels, will need to take the science-focused admissions test even if they don’t want to take A Level Science.
